The challenge
A 9 metre fall across the site and a strict cut-to-fill balance requirement, with sediment discharge tightly controlled by the consent conditions.

Our solution
Platform levels were iterated against volume models until the site balanced, with batters and a short retaining interface managing the remaining level change. A staged sediment basin strategy kept discharge compliant through the wet season.

The outcome
The earthworks balanced within two per cent, avoiding both import and off-site disposal, and no discharge non-compliances were recorded.
